Green Smoothie

I honestly have no idea what to title this recipe. I've thought about it and now it's become too late for me to care so "Green Smoothie" it is, until I can think of something better.

Anyway, I needed to make some sort of green smoothie a few days ago and I had a ton of fruits and veggies to use up. Picking which ones to use was the hardest part (I have difficulty making decisions about things that don't actually matter).

I chose to go all out, which I never do when making green smoothies cause the first few times I didn't go by a recipe, they were awful. I wish I was being dramatic. I almost threw a few of them up. Luckily, this one turned out ten times better than I could have even hoped for.

First up, a golden delicious apple.

Next, grab an orange
And then grow a pear, or just buy one.
Next, one stalk of celery
How about a carrot?
Throw all of it in the blender (leave in the seeds and core of the apple and pear if you have a great blender. 75% of the nutrition of an apple is found in the seeds.)

Blend that sucker up. It should look like this:

Now take two cups of spinach (one cup is usually a good sized handful) and throw that in the blender.
Along with a cup of frozen green grapes

1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tbsp flax seed
1 cup of ice
And blend the added ingredients into the first mixture.

Now you're done. It makes a ton and has a great, well-rounded green smoothie flavor. It's not overly sweet, tart or vegetable-y. It's literally my favorite one now. I hope you like it!

Thanks for reading.
